Comfrey Leaves

Comfrey leaves is also called bone set.
It will help to complete the healing of the fracture and/or sprained muscles / tendons which attach into the bones.  Comfrey root is said to have the same properties but is stronger and may be toxic to the liver. I would not use the root.
Drinking as Tea
Some say we can drink the tea from the leaves to keep the bones strong. If you do, only take 1/8 cup (1 ounce) to 1/4 cup (2 ounces) in the morning and in the evening. If you do not drink the tea, feed it to your plants. (Susun Weed).

Comfrey Leaf

Health News

Heal your injuries naturally I have had many questions for what to do when we fracture our bones or sprain our tendons. A remarkable solution is to first set the bone for healing, then after the cast/splint is removed you can apply a comfrey leaf poultice which you can also apply to sprain/strain muscles and tendons.

Make a Poultice

Make a poultice by making an infusion:

Supplies needed: 1 pint mason jar with a seal on the lid, dried organic comfrey leaves (not powdered), a large unbleached muslin tea bag which ties: you may be able to get the supplies from your local health food store.

Another Note:

Recent research suggests we need Vitamin K 2 for strong bones along with vitamin D3 and calcium. The best natural sources for vitamin K 2 is Japanese natto in miso, for vitamin D 3 sit in the sun 10 minutes a day, and for calcium eat plenty and a variety of leafy greens (kale, bok choy, arugula, chard) and broccoli, cauliflower.  www.mercola.com

Good luck with healing your injuries of bones, tendons, and muscles.
